Welcome to Ghosted RP, a semi-realistic, immersive roleplay environment built around long-term character development, meaningful storytelling, and collaborative experiences. We prioritize immersion over mechanics, story over grind, and quality over chaos. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CORE PHILOSOPHY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Be Your Character. Remain in character at all times. Every interaction should contribute to the story. Actions Have Weight. Consequences matter. If you escalate, expect escalation in return. Use Logic. This is GTA V — not a superhero simulation. You are not invincible. Roleplay Over Gunplay. Combat is a tool, not the default solution. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ COMMUNICATION & ACCESS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Language. You must be able to understand, speak, and type English. Microphone. A working microphone is required for in-city roleplay. If a disability limits voice communication, open a ticket so staff can help arrange an approved alternative. Third-Party Comms. While loaded into the server, discussing active roleplay externally (Discord calls, group chats, etc.) is prohibited. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CHARACTER STANDARDS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ All characters must have a realistic backstory and personality. Low-effort characters created for grinding, trolling, or rule circumvention are not allowed. Your character’s appearance must align with immersive standards. Outfits or identities designed to mock, distort, or undermine realism may be removed at staff discretion. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ GENERAL ROLEPLAY RULES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Roleplay First. This is an RP server before it is a game server. You are expected to engage with RP offered to you. No Breaking Character. Do not reference rules, desync, mechanics, or say “RDM/FailRP” in character. Complete the scene, then report it. Value Your Life (NVL). If your life is realistically threatened, you must respond accordingly. Reckless disregard for your life or others without serious narrative consequence is FailRP. New Life Rule (NLR). After death, you forget the last 30 minutes leading up to it. You may not return to the scene or seek revenge based on that knowledge. Executed characters may remember general circumstances but not identifying details. No Trolling. Do not intentionally provoke, derail, or grief other players for entertainment (in-city or out-of-city). If your intent is to ruin the experience, you do not belong here. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ COMBAT & CONFLICT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ No Random Deathmatching (RDM). No attacking without prior roleplay interaction or initiation. No Vehicle Deathmatching (VDM). Vehicles are not weapons unless used once as a last resort for escape. Conflict Limits. Civilian/Criminal Conflict: 5v5 Heists: 5 criminals, 8 police Endless or repeated rapid shootouts without narrative progression may be deemed FailRP. Conflict must evolve. Ongoing violence without attempts at resolution is considered NVL or griefing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ POLICE & CRIMINAL INTERACTIONS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Traffic Stops. If police initiate a stop, you must engage in RP before fleeing. Criminal RP. Crime must be story-driven. Robbery sprees without buildup are FailRP. Shootouts must have justification and escalation. Fear the law. Escalation should not be your first response. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ GREEN ZONES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The following are protected areas: - Hospitals - Job Center - Police Department Lobby - Staff Designated Zones No violence, robberies, or hostile actions may occur in these areas. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ REALISM & MECHANICS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Stop-and-go at red lights is permitted. Unrealistic jumps, mountain scaling, crash abuse, or ignoring severe vehicle damage is FailRP. Major crashes require injury RP or mechanical failure RP. Exploiting mechanics, duplication, respawn abuse, or glitch use is strictly prohibited. Character Separation. Do not transfer money, items, or assets between unrelated characters. Do not use third parties to move assets between your characters. Do not share knowledge between your characters. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SERVER RESTART & AFK POLICY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Restart Cooldown. No major crimes for 10 minutes after a scheduled restart. Crimes should also cease 10 minutes before a scheduled restart to allow scenes to conclude. Hostage scenarios and heists must begin at least 30 minutes before a scheduled restart. AFK. Do not remain AFK in the server for longer than 15 minutes. Log out and return when you are ready to roleplay. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ METAGAMING & POWERGAMING ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ No Metagaming. Do not use Discord, streams, or OOC knowledge in character. No Powergaming. Do not force outcomes without allowing fair player response. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HARASSMENT & COMMUNITY CONDUCT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ No Hate Speech or Real-World Bigotry. Zero tolerance, in or out of character. No Harassment. Repeated targeting, stalking, or weaponized RP to make someone uncomfortable is prohibited. We will not mediate personal disputes — but off-server behavior that harms community safety may result in removal. No Advertising. No promoting other communities or servers without approval. This includes DMs. No Backseat Moderating. Report issues — do not attempt to enforce rules publicly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ INJURY & MEDICAL ROLEPLAY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ While downed, you remain alive and aware unless unconscious RP is justified. No OOC trash talk after being downed. Ocean dumping is permitted for story purposes but may not be used to force permadeath or evidence removal abuse. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ GRAPHIC CONTENT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ No Erotic Roleplay. No graphic torture or mutilation without explicit consent. No sensitive real-world trauma RP (self-harm, terminal illness, mass casualty events, etc.). ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ GOVERNMENT & ALLOWLISTED JOBS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Government roles hold authority but must act with RP justification. OOC disputes may not be acted out in character. Corruption RP must be realistic and balanced. Job-restricted equipment may not be sold or distributed improperly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SECURITY, CLIENT INTEGRITY & FAIR PLAY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ No Advantage Mods. No cheats, scripts, plugins, overlays, crosshairs, handling mods, or any third-party modifications that provide an advantage. No VPN. VPN use is prohibited when joining the server. If you have a legitimate special circumstance, open a tech support ticket for review. No Unauthorized Discord Clients. Third-party Discord modifications (e.g., BetterDiscord or unauthorized plugins) are not allowed in Ghosted RP spaces. Ban Evasion. Circumventing a ban through alternate accounts will result in extended bans and removal. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ EVIDENCE, REPORTING & INTEGRITY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Evidence Required. All reports must include video evidence (minimum 30 seconds before and after the incident). “He said / she said” situations cannot be resolved without proof. No False Reports. Do not lie to staff, falsify evidence, or mislead in tickets or reports. This includes edited clips presented dishonestly, fake screenshots, or fabricated narratives to gain advantage. Use proper ticket channels for disputes. Do not DM staff members directly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CONTENT CREATION & BRAND USE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Use of the Ghosted RP name, branding, or server identity in stream titles, tags, bios, overlays, or promotional material may be restricted to approved creators at staff discretion. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ VIP TERMS (IF APPLICABLE) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ VIP benefits are non-transferable. Do not sell, trade, or give VIP benefits to other players. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SERVER PHILOSOPHY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ghosted RP rewards storytelling — not grind-only behavior. Logging in purely to farm money or avoid interaction goes against the spirit of the server. We are here to create experiences, not spreadsheets. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SERVER AUTHORITY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Staff reserve final authority on all decisions and rule interpretations. Not every scenario can be documented. Rulings will consider intent, impact, and overall roleplay quality. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ STAFF TEAM CHAIN OF COMMAND ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ghosted Founder Final authority on all server decisions. The Overseer Oversees staff operations and escalations. Management Handles complex tickets and mentors staff. Senior Administrator Maintains roleplay integrity. Administrator Enforces RP and OOC standards. Senior Moderator Supervises moderators and handles tickets. Moderator Assists players and handles reports. Support Staff Guides newcomers and reports issues upward.
